The vision and dedication of our Founder, Ali Metin Kazancı, have transformed Kazancı Holding into a global energy group that operates production across four continents, has sold its products to more than 180 countries to date, and employs over 17,000 people.
Ali Metin Kazancı, one of the first names that comes to mind when entrepreneurship in Türkiye is mentioned, began his business career in the early 1950s. Our Founder and Honorary Chairman laid the foundations of our group companies in 1968 by establishing Watt Electric Motor Factory and, through his successful initiatives, led our growth across all areas of the energy sector. In 1994, he brought our companies together under a holding structure.

Throughout his life, Ali Metin Kazancı was a pioneering and inspiring leader who left a lasting mark on the business world through his stance and principles.
By establishing Türkiye’s first energy holding, he demonstrated his vision; by expanding into different regions of the world, he showed his courage; and through his investments in various sectors—especially agriculture—for the benefit of society, he passed on his values to all of us. He achieved success in every field he entered and created significant works for his country and for humanity.
