Aksa Energy
Turkey’s Largest Publicly Traded Independent Power Producer

With 11 operational power plants, Aksa Energy is Turkey’s largest publicly traded independent power producer, advancing rapidly along its path towards globalization.

Since 2015, Aksa Energy has undertaken significant steps in pursuit of globalisation. The Company has executed all power plant installation processes, from project design to procurement, construction and commissioning, within the geographies in which it operates, through its own qualified technical teams. To date, the Company has constructed and operated more than 40 power plants utilising diverse energy sources, including biogas, natural gas, wind, solar and hydroelectric power.

Taking major steps in accordance with its 2030 Global Strategy, Aksa Energy is transitioning from a domestic energy undertaking into a global energy company, with power plants and projects in Turkey, the TRNC, Ghana, Madagascar, Congo, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Senegal and Mali.

Strengthening its presence on the African continent through foreign-currency-denominated guaranteed electricity sales agreements, Aksa Energy entered the Central Asian market with Uzbekistan in 2020 and Kazakhstan in 2022. The Company seeks to further enlarge its global service portfolio by closely monitoring new investment opportunities across all geographies with energy demand.

With 19.868% of its share capital publicly traded, Aksa Energy’s shares are listed on the BIST 100, BIST Stars, BIST Electricity, BIST Dividend, BIST Dividend 25, BIST Corporate Governance, BIST Participation and BIST Participation 30 indices under the ticker symbol AKSEN.
