Aksa Natural Gas was incorporated in 2002 as a holding entity under Kazancı Holding. The Company initially commenced natural gas distribution activities in the Balıkesir region and currently conducts operations in 23 of Turkey’s 73 licensed regions.

Aksa Natural Gas maintains its natural gas distribution activities in 23 regions for which it has obtained licences from the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA), and it conducts operations across 29 provinces, 354 districts and municipalities. As the operator of the largest geographical distribution area in Turkey, Aksa Natural Gas provides services to a population of 21 million and to 9.2 million potential subscribers within its distribution territories.

Aksa Natural Gas constitutes Turkey’s largest natural gas distribution undertaking with a 28% distribution share, having increased its aggregate investment volume to TL 55.3 billion and the length of its network to 66.000 km through investments amounting to TL 4.9 billion during the relevant fiscal year. Framing its activities around the mission of bequeathing a more sustainable and habitable world to future generations by supplying environmentally responsible natural gas to millions of individuals, Aksa Natural Gas realised a turnover of TL 63.2 billion in 2024.

Aksa Natural Gas likewise makes a significant contribution to the development of the country through the employment opportunities it generates. The Company’s total workforce increased from 1,278 in 2014 to 4,585 as of the end of 2024. Structuring its activities in line with the principles of quality service and elevated customer satisfaction, Aksa Natural Gas promptly implements its investments in every region in which it carries out distribution. In this regard, the Company finalised the majority of its investments in its distribution territories prior to the expiry of their respective periods, and continues to provide the convenience of natural gas to its subscribers, within the scope of its licence, in the most expeditious manner.
