Aksa Natural Gas was established in 2002 in line with Türkiye’s national energy policies aimed at expanding the use of natural gas across the country as a safe, economical and environmentally friendly energy source in response to increasing air pollution. Having commenced its operations in Balıkesir, Aksa Natural Gas today provides millions of subscribers with natural gas across 24 distribution regions licensed by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority of the Republic of Türkiye (EMRA), with a commitment to safe, uninterrupted and high-quality service.

Serving Türkiye’s largest geographical distribution area with 8.6 million subscribers across 30 provinces and 381 districts and towns, an annual natural gas distribution volume of 17.1 billion m³, and a 31.3% share of natural gas distribution, Aksa Natural Gas contributes to Türkiye’s safe and robust energy infrastructure through its network extending over 73,000 kilometers, while continuously enhancing its service quality through investments in technology and digitalization.
