As Kazancı Holding, we continue to expand our presence in the energy sector through our investments both in Türkiye and internationally. With operations spanning numerous regions worldwide, we are taking decisive and accelerated steps towards becoming a truly global holding company. Our strength is derived from our long-established entrepreneurial family culture, together with our robust companies, professional management structures, and more than fifty years of accumulated experience. Kazancı Holding and our Group Companies continue to create value for society and individuals through social responsibility initiatives and employment opportunities in our country and in other geographies in which we operate, while sustaining strong growth and profitability.

We take great pride in the fact that the AKSA brand represents our country with distinction as a successful global brand across the world. Our Group Companies conduct their activities in all sectors in which they operate by relying on the strength, reliability, and corporate reputation of the Aksa brand. This achievement is the result of our careful and sustained efforts over many years, our commitment to placing honest and principled business conduct above all else, and, most importantly, the significance we attach to a business approach founded on mutual trust and respect.

We are witnessing the concrete outcomes of this entrepreneurial spirit and business philosophy, which originated with my grandfather, reached its highest point under my father’s leadership, and which we continue to pursue today with unwavering determination. While my grandfather was engaged in commerce, he was also an individual who sought to address the needs of the city in which he lived. It is known that he made significant efforts towards the distribution of electricity in Rize during the 1940s.

My father, Ali Metin Kazancı, is the principal architect behind the Group’s attainment of its current position. Throughout his professional career, which commenced in Rize and continued in Istanbul, he consistently sought new initiatives, contributed to economic development, and undertook endeavours that had not previously been realised. When he established Aksa Generator, the first company of the Group, his vision was never confined to the Turkish market. He consistently aspired to sell to global markets and to carry out manufacturing activities in various parts of the world. This outlook has remained unchanged in every company subsequently incorporated into the Group. Closely monitoring global developments, operating as a competitive company on an international scale, and striving to reach and surpass the standards of its competitors were among the most fundamental values that my father, Ali Metin Kazancı, instilled within the Aksa Group.

I have been engaged in production and trade within my father’s workplace from a very early age. That environment instilled in me, at an early stage, the understanding that entrepreneurship is not constrained by boundaries. Today, our Group comprises an energy company that generates electricity in challenging geographies across the world and consistently receives invitations from new countries; the largest natural gas distribution company in Türkiye and the fourth largest in Europe; an electricity sales and distribution company that has extended its success in Türkiye to international markets; and a global generator company with production and sales networks spanning from China to the United States and from Spain to South Africa.

Within our energy group, which is primarily structured around this quartet, we also operate dozens of brands and subsidiaries that address the technological requirements of the new era. While we maintain a presence in numerous locations through our electric vehicle charging stations, we are also carrying out intensive work on solar solutions, which are developing rapidly worldwide. In addition, Aksa BESS, which we have established for energy storage solutions, one of the most critical technologies of the new era, aims to undertake investments in energy transformation and renewable energy, initially in Türkiye and subsequently across the world.

The principal approach of our Group in its activities within the agriculture, tourism, and food and beverage sectors, which we collectively classify under Hospitality, is to operate with a clear focus on social benefit. In particular, as a group of this scale, we have embraced as a responsibility the contribution to the agricultural needs of our country. Our fundamental approach is both to produce in order to meet supply requirements and to ensure healthy production through the application of appropriate techniques.

As a group employing thousands of employees, we recognise that an organisation of this magnitude must closely monitor international developments in institutionalisation and digitalisation. We adopt the practice of establishing the most appropriate organisational structure by obtaining consultancy support from leading companies in these fields. We act in accordance with a global strategy by developing forward-looking projects and continuously updating them. We work with highly qualified professionals in their respective fields and aim to create opportunities that support the continuous development of all our teammates.

In an increasingly competitive global environment, we aim to generate satisfaction and value for both our shareholders and our employees. Acknowledging the critical importance of protecting nature and contributing to the sustainability of life, we endeavour to implement all relevant international developments in this area within our organisation.
