Kazancı Holding commenced its journey in the energy sector in 1968 with the establishment of the Watt Electric Motor Factory. In the 1980s, the Group began producing generators under the Aksa Generator brand, followed in the 1990s by the construction of power plants and electricity generation through Aksa Energy; in the 2000s by natural gas distribution with Aksa Natural Gas; and in 2010 by electricity distribution and retail sales with Aksa Electricity. This vertical and horizontal restructuring has afforded Kazancı Holding a distinctive position within the energy sector.
