Ahmet Vefa Erdem graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Computer Engineering, in 1996. Over his 28-year career, he has worked across various areas of technology and in multiple sectors, including the past 20 years serving as an information technology manager.

Following his graduation, he undertook roles in software development, database management and project management at ISE Takasbank, Aygaz and Boyner Mağazacılık, respectively. Between 2000 and 2007, he served as a manager at Turkcell, where he contributed to significant projects. Between 2007 and 2012, he transitioned to the finance sector with Groupama Sigorta, and from 2012 to 2018 he served as Data Warehouse Manager at Yapı Kredi Bank.

In 2018, he joined KoçDigital, the digital transformation company of the Koç Group, where he led industrial transformation initiatives and the development of industrial products as Information Technologies and Product Development Director.

As of September 2024, he joined Kazancı Holding as Vice President of Information Technologies.

Ahmet Vefa Erdem is married and has one daughter.
